Flu Vaccinations 2015-16

The greatest risk of catching flu is during the cold winter months between October and March.    It is sensible to be vaccinated up until the Spring especially if you fall in any of the “at risk” groups.   Protection from the above strains is from about 2-3 weeks after the injection.


  • All Patients over 65 years of age
  • Asthmatics
  • Chronic lung or chest conditions (6months or older)
  • Diabetics (6 months or older)
  • Healthcare workers/key workers/care workers eg Emergency personnel
  • Heart disease (6 months or older)
  • Kidney/liver patients (6 months or older)
  • Patients with low immunity eg cancer patients with or on treatment
  • Patients with stroke or neurological conditions
  • Women who will be pregnant during the influenza season
  • We have a limited number of the annual flu vaccine available should you feel you are at risk containing A/California/7/2009 (H1N1) pdm09A/Switzerland/9715293/2013 (H3N2), B/Phuket/3073/2013


The price of the vaccine is £65.00 inclusive of injection fee & documentation

(additional vaccines or those carried out during a consultation will be charged at £30.00 each)
